Need money for flyers? Help covering travel costs to a gig? Pay for some paid advertisement to amplify new music?

These aspects of being an artist is exactly what the Rat City Fund will address. Knowing that Allston-Brighton is home to many artists who are ‘getting their start’ we hope to help with that experience. This fund will provide four local artists with grants of $250 that can address small time costs of being an artist.

Funds will be collected digitally and also in-person at the Rat City Arts Festival being held on Saturday, July 29th, at Aeronaut Allston.

Applications for the Rat City Fund will open up in August and will be reviewed by Allston Village Main Streets. Artists will be highlighted and provided funding at the start of Fall.
