About Us

A Vision for Allston

Allston Village Main Streets envisions a business district that is a great place to live, work, play, and own a small business. We believe this means supporting programs and initiatives that foster economic and social development.

Our neighborhood's development is focused through our core goal:

“Promote, beautify and economically develop Allston’s business district and assist in safeguarding the health, safety and artistic and cultural vitality of Allston Village.”

We accomplish this through a few methods. We assist our local businesses with one-on-one technical assistance and advocate on behalf of the community towards the city, state, and private institutions. We work to implement design and beautification programs to beautify the neighborhood through public art and installation projects. And we host unique events throughout the year to bring people into the district.
