Through the City of Boston and their Office of Economic Development, Allston Village Main Streets is able to offer businesses a wide variety of support and programs. These include: 

  • ReStore Boston:  Assists business and property owners in improving their signage and facades. Acquire grant funds for new signage and exterior design and renovation!

  • On-Site Technical Assistance: The On-Site Business Assistance program supports you as you improve and grow your business. Expert consultants will work with you right at your place of business to provide you with assistance in customer acquisition and retention, marketing and branding, financial management, inventory systems, planning for growth, and improving the customer experience. 

  • Renew Boston: focuses on reductions in energy and maintenance costs that yield positive cash flow and noticeable improvements.

  • Boston Buying Power: assists Boston's businesses and non-profit organizations in the procurement of electricity and natural gas through the creation of a citywide energy-buying group. 

  • Women Entrepreneurs Boston (WeBOS): WeBOS unifies and supports all women entrepreneurs, from startups to home-based businesses to the established brick-and-mortar mainstays of Boston’s Neighborhoods. 

  • Small Business Center: provides direct business assistance, and connects businesses to Business Services Online. We build the capacity of business owners and entrepreneurs to start, run, and grow their business in Boston.

  • Graffito Small Business Toolkit: A simple for small businesses looking to open a brick and mortar location. From selecting a space and design team to working with landlords and brokers, this tool kit will guide you along the way.
