Allston Village Main Streets is the sponsor of Studio Chat – Lynda Hill with the 411 on Dating.  The half hour show airs Monday nights at 7:00pm on BNNTV, and streams live on the web.

The show also repeats Thursdays at 9:00pm and Saturday mornings at 10:00am.  Do you want to know how to attract the opposite sex, start dating again after a divorce, have a successful on-line dating experience or survive a devastating breakup,?  Maybe you have questions about how to juggle dating more than one person, who pays for the date, or how to spots the danger signs of an abusive relationship and stay safe.

Viewers, who range in age from high school and college students, to those getting back into dating after a divorce, email questions to Lynda about their dating dilemmas.  Some call the show hot line to ask a question.  There is a different guest each week, so viewers can count on a lively discussion. But no matter the dating dilemma, viewers can rely on sound advice.  It's all about fair play.

A few months ago, a viewer wrote about her cheating boyfriend.  She signed her email, “I want revenge so bad, I can taste it.”  Lynda sympathized with the viewer's pain, but advised her to, “get back out there and live well, because that is the best revenge.” This advice unleashed a torrent of emails from viewers about vengeful plots on ex-lovers.

“I can't go through the Park Street Station without someone coming up to me with another revenge horror story”, Lynda said a few weeks later on the show.  Viewers asked for, and got, another show on revenge.  But true to her fair play ethic, Lynda advised viewers at the end of the show, “use your imagination and devise a horrible plot.  Enjoy it in the privacy of your mind, but don't write it down, and definitely don't do it.  After you've thought about it for a while, put it in an imaginary balloon and let it float away.  Then get back out there and get on with your life because living well really is the best revenge.”
